Locality. F.R.I. Kepong. Selangor. 800 ft
Remnant of hill forest by the reservoir.
Tree 100*, bole 50’, girth 6*, crown
broad & spreading. Bark greyish-brown,
lenticellate, scaling & dippled. Inner
bark rich brown with copious white sap
(sticky). Sapwood pale brown. Lvs in
very dense terminal spirals, the If. bases
almost overlapping, lflets opp. or alt.,
terminal lflet present, glossy mid-green
§bove, paler & ra&her rough below, rhachis
& midrib bfcfcow brown-mealy. Twigs & young
parts of plant with a rnsty brown mealy
tomentum, the older twigs densely lenti-
cellate, containing copious white sap.
Young frt in small erect axillary panicles
to 5” long, axes & fruit very mealy,
brown. Pericarp contains much white sap.
