Field Char: Tree 10 m tall, dbh 10 cm, bark
gray-brown, with small roundish scarlike brown
markings, slash flesh-red; flower buds rusty
brown.

Habitat: Premontane forest along ridge and
slopes with a number of deciduous
species, canopy height 25-30 m.
