Sichuan Province, Dege Xian: Road from Dege to Baiyu along
Jinsha Jiang (upper Chang Jiang) S of bridge connecting Sichuan
and Xizang (Tibet), downstream from confluence of Serqu Ge
(Serqu River). 31°36'44"N, 98°36'16"E; 3040 m. Ravine and
slopes along dry tributary of Jinsha Jiang; spinescent shrubs (2-3 m
tall) of Berberis, Rhamnus, Rosa, Sophora, Zanthoxylum. Thickets
above stream. Vine ca. 3 m tall; tepals yellowish green. DNA
material available.
