1980 Sino-American Botanical Expedition to Western Hubei Province People’s Republic of China Clematis lasiandra Maximcwicz Shennongjia Forest District (31°3(KN; 110°30/E): along Qiaodonggou canyon west of the road between Jiuhuping Forest Farm and Bancang. Elevation ca. 2100 m. Near stream bank in cleared forest. Vine; stems brown-red; flowers purp- lish; calyx lcbes red; hairs on achenes white. 1980 Sino-Amcr. Exped.
