grazed field edges, mountainous.
Weed along fences, terrace walls} perianth
parts reddish-purple; plant sprawling in a
tangle of vegetation, the stems on ground ca.
0.5 cm thick; plant covers ca. 6 m sq., with
very few erect stems coming through other
vegetat i on.
