and below goat trail near top of ridge. Mixed Mesic forest w/ A. Koa,
Metrosideros polymorpha, Dicranopteris, Dodonea viscosa, Alyxia stellata,
Leptecophylla tameiameiae, Antidesma platyphyllum, Dianella sandwicensis,
Bidens cosmoides.
Forming a mat. Stem ribbed green w/ red tint to ridges and red stem lower.
Thin papery layer at stem base. Flowers ted. Leaves med-green.
