Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest.
Disturbed by felling.
Forest dominated by Lithocarpus and Cyclobalanopsis.
Perennial herb 40-60 cm tall. Flowers purplish pink.
Occasional.
Growing on forest floor in shade.
In loam on granite.
