Jelundung, Batu Lintang. 1 km SW of camp.
Mixed Dipterocarp forest, basalt soil; associates include:
Shorea, Knema, Lithocarpus, Artocarpus. Sloped hill.
Morphology:
Small tree 6 m, 7 cm dbh. Outer bark light beige, lightly
fissured. Leaves dark green above, light beneath, dull.
Calyx crimson red, petals violet, stamens yellow; fruit
rasberry red.
