Deciduous forest on hilly terrain, Bursera spp. dominant.
Tree 5 m x 5.5 cm (but growing taller), forked at base; long,
arching branches with many short shoots, leaflets
white-pubescent below. Outer bark non-peeling, 5Y7/2
(pale yellowish gray), beneath 5Y5/4 (dark yellowish green),
trunk lenticellate, with short hoop marks. Fruits immature,k
pale green, ovoid, very slightly compressed. Calyx and
pedicel pale green. Wood relatively hard, 2.5Y8/4 (tan).
