Habitat
upon ground or somewhat climbing upon the ground portion of tree trunks.

Description
A tangled mass; stems and branches smooth or reddish brown; becoming suffrutescent; bracts especially those of the involucre scarious brown; flowers pale creamy white; anthers dull blue.
