ca. 5,900 ft
On gentle slope in loose, loamy soil with
Artemisia tridentata, Helianthus cusickii, Packera
multilobata, Blepheropappus scaber; growing in
dense, isolated patches.
Corolla yellow, backside fading to pale red.
Whole plant has strong odor, reminiscent of
Cannabis.
