road to Ruoergai Xian (highway S209), just E of Waqie Xiang.
3306'31"N, 102°37'55"E; 3485-3520 m. Ungrazed, moist Kobresia
meadow with mixed herbs and adjacent drier meadows on slopes, with
few scattered shrubs of Spiraea, Potentilla fruticosa and Lonicera.
Upper bank of drying stream through meadow in hard-packed mud.
Perianth cleft ca. 2.3 to base, segments white; anthers yellow; achenes
densely granular striate. DNA material available.
