  • Description

    stems 1/2 inch thick, branched: bark rough, mottled; branches rebranched, subdeflexed; leaves leathery, shining green above, much paler beneath, flat; inflorescence terminal, or from the axils of fallen leaves or twigs, mostly divaricate or subpendulous; bracts flesh colored, persistent; corolla very thin delicate and transparent, caducous, of a pale watery white; stamens and style yellowish; anthers purplish with the basal appendages rich yellow.
