Liana, scrambling on steep slopes; peduncles,
pedicels, bracts, and bracteoles rich pink;
calyx pale pink, "becoming deeper; petals rich,
pink; filaments and style white; anthers rich
bine with reddish pnrple basal lobes.
OVALAU: Hills southeast of valley of Mbureta River; alt. 100-300
m.; dense forest.
