the road from the Nujiang to Yaping pass, E side of
Gaoligong Shan.

Forest dominated by Illicium, Acer, Lithocarpus,
Cyclobalanopsis.
Perennial vine, 10 m. Flower maroon to brown with
yellow center.
Growing in open area among Rubus and other shrub.
