Locality:
Borneo. C. Kalimantan. Sintang. HPH Km 70; West of
camp off main (new) logging road, cutting block and
surrounding environs.
Mixed Dipterocarp forest, associates: Shorea, Vatica,
Horsfieldia. Newly disturbed forest. Red clay soil.
Morphology:
Tree 20 m tall, 18 cm dbh. Outer bark light grey, flaking.
Inner bark pale yellow. Wood very hard. Leaves shiny
above, light green beneath. Flower bud green.
