Extensive quartzite talus and cliff complex with sparse Pinus pungens and mixed pine (P. pungens, P. rigida, P. strobus) – hardwood (Acer rubrum, Betula lenta, Nyssa, Quercus illicifolia, Q. prinus, Sassafras) forest with Kalmia-Vaccinium understory at cliff base and talus edge. on rock in overhang.
