Trigai, U km SW on gravel road to Moro-Moro from the
turnoff from the Mataral-Santa Cruz highway.
18°19’37”S, 64°10’28”W. alt. 1750 m.
Arid woodland with Prosopis kuntzei, P. alba, Schinopsis.
Tree 6 m. tall, the lower trunk 50 cm. in diameter, soon
dividing into 2 trunks. Flowers abundant, visited by Apis
mellifera and many other insects (5:30 P.M., partly cloudy),
although the flowers seem to be just opening, with others
faded and falling apart.
