WHITE MOUNTAINS: Alluvial fan below Sand Spring Canyon 2.3 miles ENE of Sand
Spring, Fishlake Valley watershed. Locally abundant. Loose fine sandy alluvium and shallow
drainages sloping 1° SE, with Ambrosia salsola, Atriplex canescens, Psorothamnus polydenius,
Sphaeralcea ambigua rosacea, Salsola paulsenii, Eriogonum maculatum, Euphrosyne
nevadensis, Loeseliastrum schottii, Loeseliastrum depressum, Eriastrum wilcoxii, Chamaesyce
micromera, Chamaesyce serpyllifolia, Pectis papposa, Tiquilia nuttallii, Stephanomeria
exigua, Bouteloua barbata, etc. Yellowish green prostrate annual to 4 dm across.
