thallus: 3-6 cm, s.o/3.014.0 /2.6/ 4 0/5.0/3.5 >5.5 /6.5, rosette
lobes: mostly weakly to moderately convex, central parts strongly mounded, 250-
320 nm thick
upper surface: epruinose to moderately and coarsely whitish pruinose, but very
dirty
cortical hairs: fairfy abundant around most lobe tips and interior margins
medulla: moderately yellowish in upper part
lower surface: mostly weakly corticate to ecorticate near most tips to farther back
than usual
rhizines: ±100 jim, longer and more forked/fasciculate than usual
epinecral layer: 0-10 ^m, some dead cells, plus crystalline/granular epipsamma?,
S-
upper cortex: 15-20 ¿im
algal layer: ±75-100 ¿im
medulla: ±125-175 jirn, S+ciystals
lower cortex: mostly indistinct, ±25 jim, with small round-tipped hyaline ’'hairs"

apothecia: 0.5-1.5 mm
disk: epruinose to weakly coarsely whitish pruinose (whitened tips of coarseness),
margins unusually pruinose, mostly flat to weakly convex
