Habitat: Secondary forest in old clearing.
Annot. Small tree; stilt-rooted close to
ground; height 35 feet, d.b.h. 3 inches;
bark light brown, vertically ribbed, with
with deep wide hollows; blaze orange. Wood
cream; watery exudate present. Upper
surface of leaves green; under side glaucous
Flower buds and calyx light green; filaments
and anthers white.
