limestone sinks of deeply shaded hardwood shrubbery.

Description
Low suffrutescent plants, erect, suberect ot reclining; stems shining green and terete, usually somewhat swollen between the purplish nodes; leaves ascending with purplish petioles, shining on both sides, paler green beneath; inflorescence axillary and dichotemously branched... "Naloy" deer feed.
