Georeferenced to 10 km along BA 270 measured from its end closest to the city of Canavieiras (where it intersects with BA 001) towards where it intersects with BR 101, in Mun. Canavieiras, Bahia. Using Google Maps (Satellite View), located BA 270, the city of Canavieiras, and BR 101. Beginning at the approximate geographic center of the entrance to BA 270 nearest Canavieiras (-15.5630585 -39.0034926), used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure approximately 11 km (10.0002 km) along BA 270 towards BR 101. Using Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs found coordinates (final) for the offset. Using Distance Measurement Tool again, found the linear extent of the starting location of the offset, the entrance to BA 270, by measuring from the chosen starting coordinates near the center of the entrance to the farthest extent of its intersection with BA 001 (-15.5637562 -39.0021783). Input coordinates, linear extent (0.160808 km), distance precision (1 km), and measurement error (0.0005 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to the Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Offset: offset along a path).
