4 40’N 58 40’W c.70m alt.
Disturbed riverine rainforest.
Scrambler to 8m over boulders, rocks (Guyana crystalline
shield) and bushes along the banks.
Main axes orange-brown, younger axes lime-green with
red spots and red ’wings’. Leaves glossy adaxially.
Inflorescence axes dark red (maroon), buds carmine-red,
flowers orange.
