Flora of California, U.S.A. Crassulaceae: Sedum paradisum\Denton) Denton ex B.L. Wilson ssp.paradisum SHASTA COUNTY: cliff by curve where bridge crosses Deer Creek; UTM zone 10, 581746 east, 4551873 north, +/- 75 feet (NAD 83). Elevation 2500 feet. Petals ascending, white to pale yellow with bases greenish, aging to pink. Anthers yellow when young, becoming rosy or brown, then black when old. 20-25 plants. Among crumbling metamorphic rocks on south- southwest facing cliff above road, in mixed forest with Douglas-fir, Canyon Live Oak, a little Black Oak. Associated species: Allium falcifolium, Eriophyllum lanatum, Streptanthus tortuosus, Gilia capitata, Eriogonum. Cultivated in a pot in Corvallis, Oregon, and harvested 3 July 2.014. Barbara L.
