Elev. 1,020 m. 47.418514° N, 121.423925° W Uncertainty: 14 m.; Datum: WGS 84; Source: GPS Moist subalpine thicket in slight draw, with Spiraea splendens (at or past anthesis), S. douglasii (in bud or early anthesis), Rubus spectabilis, Salix, and Athyrium filix-femina. Flowers deep pink; inflorescence broadly pyramidal, ca 1-1.5 x as long as wide; a few shrubs 1-1.5 meters tall, growing with both parents and intermediate in flowering time. Photographed.
