Field Char: Epiphytic shrub on canopy tree in
swamp, with stemlike aerial roots reaching
ground. Inner bark surface + wood yellow-brown.
Flower calyx green, corolla green turning
white, ovary brown.
Notes: Style white-pale green. Filaments brown
w/ white tomentose hairs. Detailed notes w/
specimen @ FMNH.
Locality: Southern Highlands Province, NE of
Waro ’airstrip’.
Habitat: Swamp forest dominated by sago palm.
