Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest.
Disturbed by clearing.
Subtropical evergreen forest disturbed by clearing.
Dorminated by Lithocarpus and Ilex.
Shrub ca. 80 cm tall. Flowers bud red, flowers green
with red vein. Occasional.
Growing along slope in forest shade.
In loam on limestone.
