Habitat
Steep slopes. Vegtation a mosaic of chaparral dominated by Adenostoma fasciculatum, Ceanothus crassifolius, Eriogonum fasciculatum, and Yucca whipplei, and coastal sage scrub with Artemisia californica, Ericameria linearifolia, and Eriodictyon crassifolium var. nigricans. Local on open, grassy slope. Sedimentary substrate, including areas of Vasquez Rocks-type outcrops ocksptype outcrops.
