  • Description

    Shrub 12 feet high bark smooth, mottled; wood soft, odorless and tasteless, yellowish white; branches widely spreading, lax, the greenish terminal portion of the twigs ascending; leaves horizontally spreading, slightly recurved except the tip, thinly coriaceous, deep dark green above, much lighter beneath, the main veins yellowish white; figs clustered the leaf axils or from the axils of fallen leaves, sub-globose and ½ inch in diameter when mature, dark green, covered with small yellowish brown lenticels.
