Habitat
Rocky southwest-facing slope above flowing creek. With Dodonaea viscosa, Fouquieria splendens, Quercus (by creek), Mimosa biuncifera, Prosopis velutina, Gossypium thurberi, grasses (Sitanion?), Phacelia, Thysanocarpus curvipes, Artemisia ludoviciana, Opuntia chlorotica, Hyptis emoryi, Cryptantha, Lycium, Notholaena sinuata (common), Glandularia gooddingii, occasional Agave palmeri, local A. schottii schottii, Descurainia, Heuchera, Coryphantha, Tecoma stans, Trixis californica, Abutilon, Brickellia, Penstemon parryi. Locally common.
