Hill Dipterocarp forest, associates include: Shorea,
Dipterocarpus, Lauraceae, Sapotaceae.
Growing in small valley below ridge.
Morphology:
Strangler, 5 m long. Outer bark yellowish-brwon, lenticellate,
rugose. Inner bark pale yellow. Leaves pale light green
beneath, venation yellow, scabrous. Fruit green turning
yellow maturing orange.
