Fruits oblong, large (24 xl8 cm) with stout (9 cm) stalk deeply inserted into open concavity. Pale
green, rough with large, hard, rounded sections. Profuse latex when cut. Occasionally has 1-2
large seeds. Leaves moderately to deeply dissected with three pairs of close lobes. Many leaves
have 1-2 pairs of lobes, and some are entire. Very dark, glossy blade with green veins. No to few
hairs on upper veins. Few appressed reddish hairs on lower veins. Tree -9 m.
Ethnobotany - This type of Mei hole has occasionally has 1-2 large seeds as opposed to Mei kuli
on atolls which has many seeds and deep yellow flesh.
