Very rough with large, hard pointed, conical sections. Pale yellow when mature. Seedless. Leaves large and wide, symmetrical. Moderately dissected with 1-3 pairs of large lobes on upper l/3rd. Dark glossy blade with green veins. Tree -12 m. Ethnobotany - Name means ‘tasty when burnt’.
