Fruits round and smóoth-textured. Leaves moderately dissected with three pairs of close lobes with undulate margins. Some leaves have three lobes on one side, four on the other. Dark glossy smooth blade with green veins. Few to many hairs on upper veins. Underside rough. Tree -9 m. Ethnobotany - Name ‘arepe’ means excessively soft hardwood.
