Tree 12 m. tall, 50 cm. in diameter, planted in
park-like area between entrance to Neiy York
Botanical Garden and the Metro North railroad
station. Twigs dark green. Just beginning to
bloom; flowers odorless, visited by honeybees,
who even visit the flowers fallen to the ground;
standard white with yellow at base; wings and
keel slightly marked with pink.
