Penck, north of S.D.A, Mission, Talasea, New Britain. Lat. 5 28 S Long. 149 38 E Habitat: Lowland rain forest on slope. Altitude 450 feet. Annot. Tree; buttresses 4 feet high, height 85 feet, d.b.h. 10 inches. Bark grey, rugose, with inconspicuous lenticels. Blaze red-brown. Wood straw. Odourless; exudate absent.
