Habitat: Lowland rain forest on slope.
Altitude 450 feet.
Tree; buttresses 4 feet high,
height 85 feet, d.b.h. 10 inches.
Bark grey, rugose, with inconspicuous
lenticels. Blaze red-brown. Wood straw.
Odourless; exudate absent. Petioles up
to 9 inches, blades up to 14 inches by
12 inches. Young fruit with reddish
hairs. Local name Segumu (Kombi).
