Field Char; Tree 20-25 m high; leaves thin
and dry-textured, medium green above,
lighter below.
Notes: Fruits bright orange-red; seeds
shiny black. Seeds to Hon. Bot. Garden.
Locality: Madang Province, W of Duduela.
Habitat: Regrowth forest along tributary
of the Naru river.
