riverbank; twigs grayish-brown, terete, woody; leaves distichous,
dry-textured, withered and involute, adaxial surface yellow-green,
abaxially silvery-green glaucous; inflorescence axes orange-brown;
perianth shallowly cupular, monochlamydeous; stamens numerous:
white; immature nutlets with acuminate scales on cupule, stigmatic
remnant 3-fid.
