vicinity of Muyuping Forest Brigade on
the SE side of the watershed divide
between the Chang Jiang (Yangtse) and
Han Jiang rivers near km 73 from
Xingshan Xian. Elevation 1450-1600 m.
Cut-over Fagus-Quercus-Betula forest
on steep slopes. SE exposure. Tree
ca. 4 m tall. Petioles and midribs
yellowish-orange on upper surface.
