in the Hutubi River drainage, hilltop and west-facing slope and
drainage immediately above (east across road from) the Nan
Shan Forest Station. Rich soil at forest margin with Picea,
Betula, Geranium, Fragaria, Iris, Viola, Androsace, etc.
