  • Description

    loose clumps stems smooth, green, 1 inch thick at the base which is in the ground is bulbose, 3 to 5 meters long usually reclining and recurved along the dense tangled undershrub; leaves smooth darker green above, ascending, flat, except the recurved tips, alternate 3-5 inches apart, the basal one more scattering, the margins wavy; infrutescense terminal, 1 foot long, its 3-5 branches alternate (a continuation of the leaf arrangement) green erect; fruits also suberect, shining lemon color, orange red and of a rich wine when mature; seeds from 3-5, irregular, shining, yellowish brown; "Tagbas".
