  • Description

    Stems 1/4 inch thick, green, lax, recurved, 1-2 meters high, usually only three in a cluster, leaves 2-4 inches apart, not different in shape towards the apex, but the lowest one reduces to mere bracts, membranous, dark green above, much paler beneath, flat edges undulate, only the tips much recurved, young infructescence sparingly branched, about 6 inches long; berries subglobose, 3/8 inch long, smooth, green containing about 5 irregularly shaped seeds. "Tagbac".
