  • Description

    Small but dense tufts; roots numerous, fibrous; the central stems erect, the older or outer ones reclining, light green, smooth, slender; leaves smooth and membranous, gracefully ascendingly recurved, deep green and lucid above, somewhat paler beneath, the midvein grooved above, ridged beneath; inflorescence erect, arising from the uppermost leaf axils, the persistent bracts brown, the nutlets smooth and whitish, shining; stems at the base covered by the old brown persistent sheaths.
