Peru: Depto. Amazonas. Road to the south of
Laguna Pomacochas, leading c. 4 km past F Tori da (on
side road from Ruta 5N at Pomacochas town, c. 32
km N of Pedro Ruiz Gallo).
S 05° 51' 20.1"; W 77° 52' 24.7"; 2356 m elev.
Small, moderately branched terrestrial free, 2-4 m tall
(up to 5-6 m in some individuals), growing in
scrubby primary vegetation on steep slope (up to 50°
angle). Young leaves with rusty indument on both
surfaces, glabrescent above; young fruits green.
