Peru: Depto. Amazonas. Ruta 103, the road from
Luya to Huaylla Belen-Colcamar.
S 06° 13’ 31.9"; W 78° 02' 34.6"; 3069 m elev.
Moderately branched terrestrial tree (but also
epiphytic in same population), 8-10 m tall, growing ,
at edge of disturbed, remnant forest. Leaves dark-
green above, rusty with indûment below; ovary with
rusty indûment in region where adjacent fruits abut;
fruiting heads, ovoid and large, 5.5 x 4 cm. DNA,
