Sakhalin Island, central part of island; along east side of the
Orlovka River ca. 25 km west of town of Smirnykh and 4 km
north SE of mouth of Ognannaya River.
120m/394ft.; 49° 43' 46.62" N, 121° 31’ 27.36" E
Northeast facing slope above river, with mix of Abies-Betula
forest, open Rubus-Epilobium meadows and small brushy stream
gullies.
Growing in shade of Abies on side of gully.
