Lej. ssp. kobayasii (Satake) Hulten Juncaceae Kuril Archipelago: Ushishir Group, Yankicha Island; inland from Kraternaya Bay, along south side of northern slope of bay, about half-way up to ridge. Tall herbaceous vegetation (Elymus, Filipendula, umbels) with patches of shorter vegetation (various grasses, Geranium, Trollius). 47o31'10"N 152°49'8"E Elevation undetermined Margins of leaf blades very hairy; plants growing among short herbaceous vegetation.
