ample* ass ending, the upper one half gracefully recurved,

abruptly© one trio ted and deeply grooved on the upper side,
in 5 rew*i blade ehartaeeous, nearly flat, paler green beneath^
abruptly constricted and extended into a slender scabrous
point: iafrutescenoe upon green, flexible more or less
flattened* 3 to t inches long, nearly erect peduncles which
arise from the lowermost leaf axils; heads ovoid* 1/2 to an
